Welcome to Day 22...
As he approached the end of his life, he gathered his people to give them parting, precious counsel. The people gathered in tents to listen, "every man having his tent with the door there of towards the temple, that thereby they might remain in their tents and hear the words King Benjamin should speak unto them." (Mosiah 2:6)
Every General Conference, we essentially do the same - remain in our "tents" as we hearken to church leaders.
But really, every day we turn our tents toward the word of God, and feast on the words of Christ. Like now. Enjoy your study session!

The small plates of Nephi were mainly devoted to the spiritual matters and the ministry and teachings of the prophets. The large plates of Nephi contained mostly a secular history of the people written by the kings, starting with Nephi. (See 1 Nephi 9:2–4.) From the time of Mosiah, however, the large plates also included items of major spiritual importance.
The plates of Mormon, or the gold plates delivered to Joseph Smith, contained an abridgment by Mormon from the large plates of Nephi, with many commentaries. These gold plates also contained a continuation of the history by Mormon and additions by his son Moroni." (Seminary Study Guide)

For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received unto heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness..."
“It has been said that the gate of history turns on small hinges, and so do people's lives. The choices we make determine our destiny.”
